DOJ to charge Marcelo Santos for recruiting teens into terrorism, to block all of Facebook as a result

Ang taong nagmamahal sayo, dapat handa rin mamatay para sayo.” That was the quote attributed to Marcelo Santos III by DOJ secretary Leila De Lima that she claims exposes his pro-Islamic Extremism views. The DOJ states that they have proof that Marcelo Santos III, novelist in only the barest, simplest sense of the word, has been influencing and recruiting young pre-teens for the Islamic terror group “ISIS,”

"Love is like an IED, you won't see it until it's too late."

The DOJ says that because of Marcelo, they will be blocking Facebook from all devices to deter the rise of Filipino extremism and to stop the criminal influence from spreading.

Marcelo, a recent convert to Islam, was apparently inspired by the romance between two Syrian extremists who died for each other on the battlefield. He has thus stopped sharing pro-Christian messages on his Facebook page, which reaches thousands of young Filipinos, and now supports “the righteous struggle of Muslims in Syria and Iraq.”

Muslim youth group “Kabataan para sa Islam” condemns the posts by Marcelo, calling him a “bad example for Filipino Muslim Youth, and not indicative of Filipino Muslims.
